Jacqueline - Troupe Director

Jacqueline - Troupe leader & Director Born in PNG during the 60’s. The troupe director has a life time career in the arts & entertainment industry which includes television work, as well as experience as a performer with several national theatre & dance companies in Melbourne, Victoria. She commenced teaching jazz & modern contemporary dance in her late teens & early 20’s. For the last decade, Jacqueline has taught bellydance techniques in classes & workshops throughout the Illawarra region, Southern Highlands, Campbelltown & Moruya N.S.W.

In 2003 she travelled & studied the dance in Istanbul, Turkey. Since 2004 her interest mostly lies with ATS. More recently, Jacqueline studies whenever possible with Australian master teacher Devi Mamak, and international masters Carolena Nericcio, Paulette Rees-Denis. In 2005 was presented with the ‘Ameras Palace Bellydance Logie’ for her consistant study & teachings over the last decade.

Jacqueline currently teaches bellydance fulltime and is a proud mother of a teen son. Interests include the arts & music, family gatherings, good food, red wine & travel.
